The blog polisinformator.blogspot.com is closed. From the message that greets visitors, “The blog on polisinformator.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs” it can be concluded that it was not shut down voluntarily but rather Blogger pulled the plug.
The blog polisinformator.blogspot.com was created by one or more anonymous people hiding behind the alias “Sons of Anarchy” and the only content on the blog were revelations about / vilification of Michael Eklof, the man behind another blog, mcrazzia.blogspot.com.
For some time a veritable MC-war raged between McRazzia and “Sons of Anarchy” in which Sons of Anarchy published serious allegations against Michael Eklöf. Among other things, they alleged he had infiltrated the biker culture and was really a police informant. As proof of their allegations they published a classified report from county police. The report turned out to be fake, and Eklof counter-attacked on his own blog, offering a reward to anyone who could identify the people behind the polisinformator blog.
Even Peter Schjerva, who runs Payback (and is also part of the Freedom Party’s leadership) for a short period got involved in the “biker war”, which now was raging not only in the biker blogosphere (where most where content to observe, some to comment, but some also took sides and got involved), but also in bulletinboards and in social media.
If Eklof ever did find out who “Sons of Anarchy” were, at least he did not publish anything about it. Eventually “Sons of Anarchy” discontinued updating the blog. The “MC-war” calmed down, and now three and a half months after the outbreak of war SOAS blog is gone.
Why the blog is gone, one can only speculate about, but it clearly broke a number of Blogger’s rules and also Swedish law, and given that they published personal data on Eklof in connection with the serious allegations, it is really strange the blog wasn’t shut down earlier.
Is the biker war in the blogosphere over for good, or it will just take new directions?

Catastrophy for japanese bikers
Wednesday, 23 March, 2011Japanese bikers are having a hard time these days. First the earthquake with the following tsunami on march 11, then multiple aftershocks, and radiation from the wrecked nuclear power plants in Fukushima.
The official number of fatalities in the disaster is up to 9000 by now and Japan needs help. Harley-Davidson has realized this and donated $ 250,000 to Red Cross efforts in Japan.
